01Cancellation before work begins
If you contact us to cancel your order before your writer has started work, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. No questions asked.
To cancel, email us at hello@landedcv.co.uk with your order reference. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.
02Cancellation after work has started
Once your writer has begun working on your documents, we have already invested significant professional time in your order. In this case:
- We will assess how much work has been completed at the time of your cancellation request.
- A partial refund of 50–75% of the order value is typically offered, at our discretion.
- We may choose to complete and deliver the documents even after a cancellation request, at which point the post-delivery policy (below) applies.
03Dissatisfaction after delivery
If you receive your documents and are not satisfied with the quality, the correct process is:

Submit a revision request
Use your client dashboard to describe exactly what you'd like changed. Be as specific as possible.

Allow us to revise
Your writer will update the documents within 24 hours of each revision request.

Unlimited revisions for 48 hours
You have 48 hours from initial delivery to request as many revisions as needed.

If still unsatisfied
Contact us directly at hello@landedcv.co.uk. We'll review your case and, where our work has genuinely failed to meet a professional standard, offer a partial or full refund.
We do not offer refunds solely on the grounds that you did not get a job interview. CV writing is a professional service that improves your application — the outcome depends on many factors outside our control.
04After you approve your documents
Once you click "Approve order" in your dashboard, you confirm that you are satisfied with the Deliverables and the order is marked complete. Refunds are not available after approval.
The 48-hour revision window closes automatically if you approve before it expires.
05Non-refundable circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- You provided inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information during the intake process and the documents were written in good faith based on what was provided.
- You change your mind about the target role or employer after delivery.
- You have already approved the documents.
- The 48-hour revision window has expired and you did not submit any revision requests.
- The dissatisfaction relates to a matter of personal preference rather than professional quality.
06How refunds are processed
All approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (credit or debit card). Processing times:
- Stripe (card payments): 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
We will confirm your refund by email once it has been initiated.
07Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. If you believe we have acted unfairly, you may also contact your card issuer to raise a chargeback claim.
